Recent data by online job listing portal, Jobstreet by Seek showed that accounting emerged as the most sought-after specialization, accounting for 11.81 percent of total job postings on the platform.
Trailing closely behind are information and communication technology roles at 11.14 percent and sales positions at 10.10 percent, reaffirming the consistent demand for tech and sales talent in an increasingly digital and customer-centric business landscape.
Rounding out the top 10 most in-demand job specializations are call center and customer service at 9.98 percent; manufacturing, transport, and logistics at 8.12 percent; administration and office support at 6.43 percent; retail and consumer products at 5.40 percent; marketing and communications at 5.09 percent; human resources and recruitment at 5.09 percent and engineering at 4.74 percent.
Jobstreet by Seek said accounting, sales and marketing and communications as the biggest movers in recent months, showing increased job postings across these sectors.
The company attributed this growth to the country’s improving economic outlook, with the Philippine Statistics Authority forecasting a gross domestic product growth from 5.4 percent in the first quarter to 6.2 percent in the second quarter of 2025.
The expansion in job opportunities also coincides with the entry of thousands of fresh graduates into the job market. Jobstreet by Seek emphasized its commitment to supporting new entrants by providing access to a broad range of entry-level job openings.
