“Pilipinas Got Talent” makes its much-anticipated return after a seven-year hiatus, and this season’s lineup of powerhouse judges promises to deliver a show like no other. The reality-talent competition, which last aired its sixth season in 2018, premieres March 29 and 30, 2025 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z and TV5.
At the helm of the judging panel are record-breaking blockbuster queen Kathryn Bernardo, veteran actress-comedienne Eugene Domingo, premiere leading man Donny Pangilinan and former ABS-CBN president Freddie “FMG” Garcia. Hosts Melai Cantiveros and Robi Domingo round out the dynamic team set to reinvigorate the franchise.
In a recent media conference, Domingo revealed her decision to join the panel came on the recommendation of Bernardo. “I wouldn’t be here if Kathryn hadn’t suggested I be part of this,” Domingo said, emphasizing the importance of camaraderie among the judges as they usher in a new era for the show.
Garcia, who returns to the panel for the seventh season, expressed confidence in the show’s fresh lineup. “The talents we have right now have leveled up. I would say they could be compared to world-class acts,” he noted, adding that the chemistry among the judges and hosts could make this season the best yet.
Bernardo also highlighted the comfort and energy that comes with having seasoned professionals on the panel. “Having Ms. Eugene there makes me feel more confident,” she said. “The energy we bring as women really sets the tone.”
The revamped “Pilipinas Got Talent” will showcase unique acts and innovative performances, with the judges promising to bring a new level of interaction and insight to the talent search. With high expectations riding on this comeback, industry insiders and fans alike are eagerly anticipating what could be the most exciting season in the show’s history. / LQ3
