CEBU Pacific (CEB) has transitioned two key facilities—APlus and AirJuan buildings—to 100 percent renewable energy (RE) in partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES).
These facilities house critical operations, including maintenance, ground handling and catering.
Felix Lopez, CEB chief human resources officer, said the shift to clean energy significantly reduces emissions from our facilities and supports the country’s renewable energy goals.
The move is part of CEB’s decarbonization strategy, which also includes an all-NEO fleet, fuel-efficient practices, optimized flight routes and electrified ground equipment.
ACEN RES vice president Sheila Mina lauded the partnership, emphasizing its role in advancing sustainable aviation.
“This partnership aligns with our mission of making renewable energy accessible for businesses across the Philippines,” she said. / KOC
