IT WILL not just be a mere fun run on June 1, 2025, at the Cebu Business Park, as Johndorf Run organizers announced on Wednesday that registered participants will have the chance to win motorcycles and mobile phones in a raffle.
Jannie Cañares, assistant marketing manager of Johndorf Ventures Corp., said three motorcycles – a Yamaha Fazzio, a Honda Beat, and a Skygo Duke – will be raffled off during the awarding of winners right after the run.
She also disclosed that two lucky runners will each bring home a Redmi Note 14 mobile phone, while another participant will win P20,000 worth of groceries.
Cañares added that more runners could win new running shoes from Nike, Hoka, Puma, and New Balance if their names are drawn during the raffle.
Johndorf, a property developer, organized the June 1 run to mark its 40th year of building residential communities and its recent office tower. The event is open to seasoned runners and groups of friends and families.
Cash prizes of up to P12,000 will be at stake along with the gold, silver and bronze medals for the top winners in every race category: 3K, 6K, 9K, and 12K.
The Johndorf Run will start and finish in front of the northeast side of the newly inaugurated Johndorf Tower on Mindanao Ave., located across Ayala Terraces.
Cañares said each participant will get the usual race shirt, race bib with a timing chip, a drawstring bag, and a raffle entry, while finishers will each receive a souvenir medal.
She further stated that those who complete the 9K and 12K runs will also receive a finisher’s shirt each, available in sizes from extra small to 3X large.
Registration will close on May 28.
