FORMER actress Andi Eigenmann took a trip down memory lane as she joined the resurfacing 2016 trend, reflecting on what she called her “golden year.”
Eigenmann shared that while 2016 marked major milestones in her career—including international travels, magazine covers, the Cannes Film Festival, and her first FAMAS Best Actress award—it was also a period when she was quietly struggling with her mental health.
Alongside her reflection, she posted photos from trips with her firstborn, Ellie, recalling how island adventures and moments of quiet helped her realize the life she wanted for herself and her daughter.
“Behind the bright lights, I was quietly struggling with my mental health… but that year, my journey started to shift,” Eigenmann wrote, adding that she eventually stepped away from the limelight in search of peace.
“But I will always cherish these moments as some of the best days of my life, too. 2016 wasn’t just about being successful. It was about becoming,” she added. (SunStar Cebu)
