
FIGHTING cop Jusue Bastillada continues his hot streak after an impressive first-round demolition of veteran Jason Tinampay in the main event of Big Yellow Promotions’ “Bakbakan Dos” on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Barba Sports Complex in Toledo City.
Bastillada, a full-time policeman in Toledo City, used his long reach to keep Tinampay at bay. He connected with a solid left straight that backed Tinampay up.
Tinampay charged and grabbed Bastillada, making it a physical fight. As Tinampay backed up, Bastillada sneaked in a right uppercut that dropped him to floor.
The fight was stopped in the 2:44 mark.
Bastillada won the vacant Visproba super featherweight belt and improved to 10-1 with six knockouts. It was Bastillada’s seventh straight win.
Tinampay fell to 14-21-2 with 11 knockouts.
In the undercard, John Vincent Pangga (12-1-1, 7 KOs) settled to a fourth-round technical draw with experienced Renoel Pael (23-16-2, 12 KOs) after the fight was stopped due to an accidental headbutt, Chinese Touhatasen Sailibieke (5-0, 3 KOs) stayed unbeaten with a first-round knockout of Michael Adolfo (6-4, 3 KOs), Richard Lasponia (8-0, 5 KOs) defeated Justine Digamo (4-4-1, 3 KOs) by unanimous decision.
Also, Sugarey Leonard Pores (8-0, 6 KOs) knocked out Jovanie Tagusi (8-11-2, 4 KOs) in the second round, Mark Anthony Sarino (4-1, 2 KOs) stopped Jahmark Gales (2-3, 1 KO) in the fourth round, Jofel Barcuma (1-0, 1 KO) demolished Loyd John Atchaso (0-1) in the opening round, John Dominic Ledres (1-2) scored an upset unanimous-decision win over Aduncio Manozo (1-1) and Ulymark Moras (3-1, 3 KOs) ended Norman Marvin Rusiana’s (1-8-2) night in the third round. / EKA
