With their postcard-worthy beaches and seamless island hospitality, BE Resort Mactan and BE Grand Resort Bohol have once again proved why they are more than just luxury destinations. Both resorts, under the BE Group of Companies, are the ultimate launchpad and landing spot for unforgettable experiences.
During the recently concluded RDAK Revolution Ride 2025 which took place from June 21 to 22, 2025, the two resorts hosted one of Cebu’s most exciting watercraft events with style, soul, and signature BE flair.
This year’s edition brought together 48 participants, including 24 riders, for a thrilling two-day ride across the Visayan Sea. It was the first time the event ventured beyond a single island, and the first collaboration between BE Resorts, RDAK Watersports, and the Watercraft Association of Cebu.
Riders launched from BE Mactan, navigated through the calm seas of Calape and the winding waterways of Loay, and wrapped up their adventure in style at BE Grand Resort Bohol.
“We really wanted to make it grand,” shared Giles Benedicto, associate director of Corporate Finance for the BE Group of Companies. “From Mactan, we prepared a full breakfast for all the riders, a proper send-off. To culminate their adventure, we made sure they were welcomed with open arms as they arrived in Bohol.”
True enough, participants were greeted at BE Grand Resort Bohol by a vibrant welcome party complete with drummers and resort staff lined along the shore.
The BE team went the extra mile and their efforts weren’t lost on the event’s key partners. Chris Aleman, speaking on behalf of the Watercraft Association of Cebu, expressed heartfelt gratitude: “BE Resorts has been very awesome. As partners, we are thankful and appreciative of the alliance we have with them. Hopefully, we can do more activities together. We’re so thankful and grateful for this partnership with BE and RDAK Powersports.”
Despite this being their first partnership with RDAK for the Revolution Ride, BE Resorts handled the coordination seamlessly, from timing the arrival of jet skis to ensuring every guest had a smooth and memorable stay.
“It’s a privilege for us to accommodate everyone,” Benedicto said. “If RDAK is down to do it again, we’re always happy to support and host them.”
First-time rider Mark Southworth summed it up simply: “I had so much fun. The weather was perfect. BE Group and RDAK did well in organizing everything.”
Indeed, the weather was on their side, with clear skies and calm waters to and fro. It was a rare window of perfection that allowed riders to soak in the views, the energy, and the community spirit that defined this year’s ride.
With the event’s exponential growth since it began just three years ago, and a shared goal of building a strong, responsible watercraft community, the partnership between BE Resorts and RDAK seems only just beginning.
BE Resort Mactan and BE Grand Resort Bohol show they’re destinations designed for adventure, connection, and unforgettable moments. After this year’s success, the only question is: what’s next? S
