CEBU Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ largest carrier, has been named the country’s fastest-growing brand and ranked sixth among the strongest Filipino brands in 2025 by UK-based consultancy Brand Finance.

The airline’s brand value surged 86 percent to US$386 million, driven by route expansion, strong passenger growth, and rising cargo volumes, according to Brand Finance’s latest report.

Cebu Pacific also earned a Brand Strength Index score of 89.1, the highest among local aviation players. “New routes, record passenger numbers, and a booming cargo business are strengthening the airline’s presence both in the Philippines and across Asia,” Brand Finance said.

Cebu Pacific recorded a 26 percent rise in passenger traffic and 15 percent revenue growth in 2025, while transporting nearly 36 million kilograms of cargo in the second quarter of 2024.

The airline also placed a landmark order for up to 152 Airbus aircraft last year — the largest in Philippine aviation history.

The carrier holds a 57 percent domestic market share as of May 2025 and serves 63 destinations, including 37 domestic and 26 international routes. / KOC
