THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the One Town, One Product (Otop) Hub at the second level of Ayala Center Cebu with Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative as the hub operator.
This Otop Hub in Ayala Center Cebu marks the sixth establishment of its kind in Central Visayas and will feature a curated selection of products, including those based on coco, cacao, coffee, processed food, processed fruits and nuts, bamboo, as well as wearables and homestyle items.
DTI-Central Visayas Director Ma. Elena Arbon said the store aims to provide a more conducive business environment for the top micro, small and medium enterprises in the region to maximize their business potential, and develop into a more stable and reliable enterprise, thus sustaining their operations.
She added this will serve as a marketing platform to sell and promote Central Visayas’ Otop products, incubation and market testing facility, and provide local and international tourists with a convenient and one-of-a-kind pleasant shopping destination for innovative and high quality Otop products - at any day, and any time.
