PBed, USAid launch P1.7-Billion workforce development project

THE Philippine Business for Education (PBed) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) launched a P1.7 billion five-year workforce development project in Cebu as one of the pilot sites.

Called the "Youthworks PH," it is a youth training and employment project in Cebu that aims to reach out to 3, 000 youths who are not in education, employment or training (Neet) in the province in the next five years.

"It’s high time that we heed the signals of the labor market and adequately adjust our investments in education for maximum returns," PBED
