AFTER the devastation that Typhoon Odette inflicted on the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros and Northern Mindanao last December 16, 2021, Puyat Steel and 2GO Group quickly responded.
To help its countrymen rebuild, Puyat Steel, the pioneer and leader in the manufacturing of roofing sheets, and 2GO Group Inc., a top logistics solutions provider in the country, shipped from the Puyat Steel Batangas manufacturing plant a bulk of its inventory of corrugated roofing materials to its Cebu plant. With this solid team-up, the supply of corrugated roofing sheets in Cebu and the Visayas has been secured.
Prices of commodities normally go up after calamities due to a shortage of supply but Puyat Steel vowed to ensure that the prices of roofing sheets will not go up after the calamity to be of help to the consumer in the typhoon-affected areas. It immediately re-allocated its inventory to its Cebu plant, and ensured that supply will be continuously available.
More so, to be able to offer the roofing sheets at factory-direct, lower than pre-typhoon prices, Puyat Steel is selling directly to consumers from the Puyat Steel Cebu Plant at the North Reclamation area in Mandaue City, Cebu (contact 0956-490-6721 or 0918-913-9619). The company’s roofing sheets are normally distributed through dealers and hardware stores. By selling direct to the consumer, the company is able to sell and make available 0.35mm steel thickness of corrugated sheets at lower prices.
