THE Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) is set to implement a new traffic scheme in the vicinity of the Cebu IT Park, with a three-day dry run scheduled from August 11 to 13, 2025, starting at 1 a.m.

This new traffic plan, which includes a “no left turn” policy at key intersections, is designed to improve traffic flow in the area.

The following will be implemented under the new scheme:

  • Vehicles on W. Geonzon St. will be prohibited from turning left onto Salinas Drive.

  • A no-left-turn rule will be enforced for vehicles on Salinas Drive heading to Jose Maria del Mar St., and vice versa.

  • Vehicles coming from Gov. M. Cuenco Ave. that wish to travel toward Archbishop Reyes Ave. and Pope John Paul II Ave. must now turn right.

  • For destinations toward Banilad-Talamban, a left turn is required.

  • Vehicles exiting IT Park are directed to use the designated flow toward Archbishop Reyes Ave. and Pope John Paul II Ave.

New road signs

Motorists are advised to follow the new road signs and traffic flow to avoid confusion and delays.

The CCTO urges the public to cooperate and show understanding during the implementation of the new traffic system, which is part of the city’s broader efforts to improve public transportation and ease traffic congestion in high-volume areas. / EHP
