Head coach Lemuel Maglinte, a former sportswriter, led his team to success by beating Archie Brocio of Fabricio Jiujitsu Bulacan in a brown belt match.

Josh Ybañez walked away with two wins after dominating Aklan’s Von Juanitas and Neil Anjoay of Baguio City.

Eric Los Baños outpointed McLean Tudayan of Baguio, while heavyweight Alfred Alega outclassed Iloilo City’s Rho Fajutrao.

Cebu-based US Army veteran Pau Musili won against Kreamer Cabuguason of Bacolod, while Yellow belt Jinani Agbayani bagged two golds after dominating both Gi and NoGi action in his division.

“We prepared hard so I know my boys were ready but sweeping all our matches seems surreal for me. I’m really proud of my boys,” said Maglinte, also the head coach of Ringside Cebu. / EKA
