BUDGET carrier Cebu Pacific is ramping up its Cebu hub operations with additional domestic and international flights starting Oct. 26, 2025, to cater to heightened travel demand during the holiday season.
In a disclosure, the Gokongwei-led carrier will raise the frequency of Cebu–Calbayog flights from seven to 11 times weekly, and Cebu–Manila flights from 94 to 103 times weekly. Flights to Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport will also be increased from three to four times a week.
CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said the additional flights are intended to give travelers more flexibility to reunite with loved ones or take vacations over Christmas and New Year.
“By expanding key routes, we make it easier for passengers to reach their chosen destinations during the busiest travel period of the year,” he said.
The airline currently operates 32 routes from Cebu, including connections to its Manila network. The added Cebu–Manila flights will improve onward connectivity to destinations such as Da Nang, Melbourne, and Sapporo — all of which will also see frequency increases in the fourth quarter. / KOC
