On Saturday, July 26, 2025 the UP Cebu Performing Arts Hall will transform into a dreamy New England town, where love is anything but ordinary. Presented by Cebu’s own Little Boy Productions, Almost, Maine is a series of nine poignant, whimsical and laugh-out-loud vignettes about love found, lost, and somewhere in between — all unfolding beneath the celestial shimmer of the Aurora Borealis.
Since its quiet NYC debut in 2006, “Almost, Maine” has become one of the most performed plays on the planet. It’s beloved not just for its sharp writing and magical realism, but for its unflinching take on what it means to connect, to risk and to feel.
But this isn’t your average restaging. Little Boy Productions — known for bold theatrical choices like the Asian premieres of Disney’s “High School Musical” and “The Last Five Years” — is putting a uniquely Cebuano spin on things.
