PRIME Video announced the upcoming launch of “Head Over Heels,” a Korean fantasy-romance series starring Cho Yi-hyun and Choo Young-woo.
The show will premiere June 23, 2025 in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories, with new episodes released weekly.
The series follows Seong-A (Cho), a high school student who secretly leads a double life as a shamaness. She meets Gyeon-U (Choo), a young man marked by misfortune. Using her spiritual abilities, Seong-A sees Gyeon-U walking upside down — an ominous sign that his life is in danger. As her feelings deepen, she becomes determined to change his fate.
Cho Yi-hyun is known for roles in “The Matchmakers,” “All of Us Are Dead” and “Hospital Playlist.” Choo Young-woo recently received the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards for his performance in “The Tale of Lady Ok,” and has also appeared in “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.” The pair previously worked together on “School 2021.”
“Head Over Heels” is directed by Kim Yong-wan (“The Whirlwind,” “If You Wish Upon Me”) and written by Yang Ji-hoon.
The series is the latest addition to Prime Video’s growing Korean lineup, which includes titles such as “The Divorce Insurance,” “Spice Up Our Love,” “No Gain No Love,” “Jinny’s Kitchen 2” and “Marry My Husband.”
Other titles available on the platform include “Five Breakups and a Romance,” “Drag Den with Manila Luzon,” “Roadkillers,” “Linlang” and Amazon Originals like “Fallout,” “The Idea of You,” “Reacher” and “The Boys.” / PR
