Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking charges but was convicted of a less serious prostitution charge after a trial in New York on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
The jury, after deliberating for 13 hours, found Diddy guilty of only two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, both of which carry a maximum sentence of 10 years for each count.
When Diddy heard the jury’s decision, he bowed his head and seemed to be praying in gratitude. Another time, he looked at the wall to show that he was relieved to hear the verdict. He even shook hands with one of the lawyers who were holding hands, both of whom were in tears.
Diddy, one of the most powerful personalities in Hollywood, has denied the allegations against him. / HBL
