A 40-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after going wild and hitting his friend’s vehicle at 4 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, along M. Velez Street, Barangay Guadalupe in Cebu City.
The suspect, identified as Dexter Santos Gabisan, 40, a resident of the area, was detained at the Guadalupe police station.
The victim, who also apprehended the suspect, was Sonny Villa Toledo, 40, a resident of Barangay Población, Compostela.
Investigation by the Guadalupe police station revealed that the suspect had been drinking with the victim and another friend. However, when they got drunk, the suspect became enraged and began hitting Toledo’s car, resulting in a broken rear windshield and side mirror.
The suspect reportedly became angry when an old feud was mentioned, prompting Gabisan to grab a hard object and strike the victim's vehicle.
Despite the suspect asking for forgiveness from his friend, he is facing charges of malicious mischief. (AYB)
