AN ELDERLY man with physical disability sustained wounds in the different parts of the body after he was allegedly stabbed by his cousin around 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in Purok Okra 3, Sitio Moryo-Moryo, Barangay South Poblacion, Naga City, southern Cebu.
The victim was identified as Mariano Pansoy Exequil alias Lalo, 66, single, while his 54-year-old married cousin Eleuterio Pansoy Veloso Jr. was the suspect.
According to the investigation conducted by the Naga police under the direction of their chief, Lieutenant Colonel William Homoc, the victim was told by Veloso to go home as he was already drunk.
But the victim refused, sparking an argument.
The suspect then took out a hunting knife and stabbed the victim numerous times.
Exequil was rushed to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City, while the suspect fled after the incident and is now being hunted by the police. (DVG/TPT)
