

ARMAND “Mondo” Duplantis set a new world record in the pole vault after clearing 6.31 meters at the Mondo Classic in Uppsala, performing in front of his home crowd.
The two-time Olympic champion opened with 5.65 meters before clearing 5.90 meters and 6.08 meters.
The American-born Swedish athlete saved his best for last, successfully leaping 6.31 meters to set a new world record and further cement his dominance in the sport. (NPG)
