FILIPINO tennis star Alex Eala will get her hands full in the upcoming 2026 US Open in New York as she is set to play in the women’s singles, mixed doubles and on the Stars of the Open exhibition event.
Eala is paired with world No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the mixed doubles event, which gets rolling on Aug. 25 to 26.
The pair will be joining in a stacked lineup with Leylah Fernandez and Frances Tiafoe, Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz, and Elena Rybakina and Taylor Fritz.
Before the singles draw is revealed, the 21-year-old Eala takes part in the Stars of the Open exhibition event on Aug. 27.
Eala, currently ranked world No. 20, is projected to enter the singles main draw as a seeded player. / RSC
