

Cebu-based hip-hop collective Dumuduong officially launched its debut eight-track EP, "WALUP," on July 25, 2026, during a release event at Mango Square Cebu.
The launch brought together supporters, fellow artists and members of Cebu's hip-hop community to celebrate what the collective describes as a milestone in its journey. Founded in 2023 by John Leo Porneo and Clint "Tata" CastaƱeda, Dumuduong Collective has steadily built a reputation for championing Bisaya rap through collaboration, discipline and artist development.
"WALUP" features eight original tracks that showcase the distinct styles of the collective's roster while highlighting their shared identity as Cebuano artists. The project brings together performances from Mcking, Brice 777, Ezrak, JaoBoco, DAP and Mistah Lefty.
More than a compilation, the EP reflects the collective's growth over the past three years and its commitment to creating music rooted in Cebu's culture while reaching a wider audience.
The release party featured live performances of songs from the EP, allowing fans to experience the new material in a live setting. The event also served as a gathering for Cebu's independent music scene, reinforcing Dumuduong Collective's vision of building a community where artists continue to learn from and elevate one another.
The launch also featured live performances from Donnie, Krei, ANBU, Phars and Flamingco taking the stage as undercard acts."WALUP" is now available on major digital streaming platforms./ JAT
