Many alumni of the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R — formerly Colegio de San Jose–Recoletos) are based abroad. Some work with big companies, have their own businesses in food, trade and travel in various locations in the United States. A good number are also in Europe and Asia. Every year most of our alumni schedule their visit to Cebu to coincide with my birthday on July 16.
The Cebu-based alumni will tender a musical appreciation dinner called “The Odyssey of the USJR Dramatics and Cultural Ensemble Allef musicales” on July 16, 2025, Details will be finalized. The project will be co-sponsored by the We Care Foundation. The proceeds of the show will be distributed among the community projects of We Care and the USJ-R Dramatics and Cultural Ensemble Alumni.
The show will also pay tribute to the socio-civic projects of the group which will receive part of the donations. It will be a showcase of the versatile talents of the alumni.
