Remember the song, “Food! Glorious Food!” from the musical, “Oliver?” Cebu has become a favorite “food hub” because of its variety of menus served in many restaurants, hotels and other food outlets.

MANAGING PARTNERS. Regan King and Frank Oliva of Aysee Cebu. Aysee is a Filipino restaurant based in Metro Manila that has been serving authentic Filipino dishes since 1986.

The torta of Argao, Cebu is as delectable as the bibingkas in Laguna and Bulacan. And the chicharon of Carcar is a favorite among local and foreign tourists.

We had a chance to have our lunch, snacks and dinner in a few restaurants located in Banilad, Mandaue and Cebu City. And, we had some “food discoveries!” Yes, in some nooks and corners of Cebu are some stores and restaurants, which offer a variety of notable snack items and lunch or dinner offerings.
