THE Federation of Cebu Transport Cooperatives (FCTC) met with Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO 7) Director Glen Galario to discuss policies and traffic regulations affecting Modern Public Utility Jeepneys (MPUJs) in Cebu.

FCTC president Ellen Maghanoy led the delegation during a visit to the LTO 7 Operations Division Office on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The meeting addressed operational concerns from MPUJ drivers and operators regarding policy enforcement.

The discussion clarified existing traffic laws and focused on consistent rule implementation for modern jeepney operations. Galario welcomed the initiative and emphasized continuous collaboration to resolve compliance issues and operational challenges.

The FCTC committed to open communication with the LTO, stressing the need for clear guidelines to streamline MPUJ services and improve commuter experience. Both parties agreed to hold regular consultations to promptly respond to issues and ensure smoother coordination among stakeholders. (CDF)
