Cebu Business Park (CBP), Ayala Land’s flagship development in Cebu, continues to redefine urban living with the official opening of its new Central Park—a lush, scenic green space designed to serve as a key convergence point for the community. Located along Cardinal Rosales Avenue, the park is envisioned as a vibrant and inclusive destination that welcomes residents, workers, visitors and pets.
The ceremonial opening was led by Ayala Land Vice President and Head of Central Luzon and VisMin Estates, Jennylle Tupaz, and Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, together with long-time estate partners in animal welfare, Happy Tails and the Paw Pantry Mission. Underscoring CBP’s commitment to pet-friendly spaces, the celebration featured a special pet adoption drive, with furry companions joining the festivities and signaling the park’s future as a pet-welcoming destination.
“As we continue to shape our estates for the future, we are deeply committed to creating spaces that enhance both livability and community connection,” said Tupaz. “This new Central Park reflects our vision for Cebu Business Park—not just as a premier business hub, but as a thoughtfully designed environment where life, nature, and people can thrive together.”
“Beyond the impressive skyline and bustling business centers, Cebu Business Park has gifted us something equally vital—green spaces where Cebuanos can breathe, run, play, and simply enjoy the outdoors,” said Mayor Garcia. “With today’s opening of CBP Central Park, Ayala Land further cements its role not only in Cebu’s economic landscape but also in the hearts of every Cebuano. You’ve created a place where children can laugh, athletes can train, friends can gather, and individuals can find moments of peace and reflection amid the busyness of everyday life,” he added.
The Central Park introduces new amenities aimed at enriching the estate experience. Among these are an Andale pop-up offering quick-serve meals, a pet park, a beloved grotto, and a farmers market operated in partnership with Gulay Farmers Welfare and Advocacy Philippines, Inc., providing fresh produce daily. Pocket community events will also be held regularly to promote stronger engagement within the estate.
CBP Central Park is part of the Cebu Business Park Redevelopment Program, a long-term initiative to elevate estate features in response to the demands of modern urban living. With a focus on sustainability, accessibility, and community-building, Cebu Business Park continues to strengthen its position as the city’s leading urban hub—where green spaces and contemporary lifestyles converge.
The Central Park marks a significant milestone in the second phase of CBP’s ongoing redevelopment program. This broader transformation includes the revitalization of existing parks, the refurbishment of major roadways, an upgraded PUV terminal, and enhanced streetscapes featuring native yellow copper pod trees, locally known as Siar. Once fully grown, these flowering trees will line the estate’s main roads, contributing to a greener, more walkable environment for all.
The park is now open to the public daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Whether for fitness, leisure, or social gatherings, CBP Central Park invites residents, tenants, and visitors to experience a renewed dimension of urban life at the heart of Cebu. (PR)
