ARE you looking for a place to wander to get rid of all the negative vibes after the stress and busyness of work?

Well, there's a place where you won't regret going to experience the beautiful Bluewater Falls or Hidden Paradise, located in Baggao, Cagayan Province.

This place is considered a virgin destination since not many people visit it yet.

For those who love adventure, Baggao is the perfect spot because of the challenges that await you, but will reward you with a worthwhile view.

How to get there?

The fastest way to get to Baggao from Cebu is by taking a plane to Tuguegarao.

The travel to Baggao is quite difficult and lengthy because the road to the place is still under construction, so it's better to hire a van that is familiar with the area.

It takes about four hours to reach Baggao from the drop-off point.

From there, you need to walk for about 30 minutes to reach the entrance of Bluewater.

There's a registration fee of P30, and tourists are not allowed to visit the falls without a tour guide, but they can hire their service for P500 for a group of four.

Upon entering the forest, the tour guide will ask if you prefer to take the shortcut or the long cut.

The shortcut will take you directly to the Bluewater Lagoon, but if you choose the long cut, be prepared.

13-tier waterfalls

The trail consists of 13 tiers of waterfalls, so it's best to wear trekking shoes or rubber shoes since the trail is rocky, and you'll need to cross the water.

The trail to the waterfalls is not the same as canyoneering since it's an uphill climb.

There's a part of the trail where you'll need to use your strength to climb up.

At each waterfall, you can take a break and relax in the cool water.

Moreover, the water in the place is clean and blue, and according to locals, it's safe to drink.

Each stop is Instagram-worthy since each waterfall has its unique beauty. There's a part of the falls where you can see the entire place, and there's also a spot where you can lie down.

Blue Lagoon

At the end of the trail, you will reach the Blue Lagoon, the described magical lake in Baggao.

You will fall in love with the place because of the sparkling sapphire/emerald-colored water.

The lagoon is surrounded by trees, and it is a surreal experience.

The area's beauty is best seen in person, not just in pictures, and it is priceless.

You can relax and float around or play around with no time limit to enjoy the opportunity.

Here, you are sure to forget your troubles, heartaches, or loneliness.

Blue Water Cave

And if you are looking for a more challenging or different adventure, there is also the Bluewater Cave.

In this area, you can see rock formations and crystals.

The cave is also very cool inside.

The Blue Water cave is said to be six kilometers long, and the water in it is as deep as an Olympic pool. (JGS)
