Six youth leadership and community development gained strong support after Sir Yongsoo Samuelî Cho, Area Commander for South Korea of the Order of the Knights of Rizal and Chief Executive Officer of HQ Company Special Energy with an office in Cebu, extended sponsorship to a student initiative at PAREF Springdale School.
Cho provided a 100,000 donation as Diamond Sponsor for ìThe Springdale Quad: Re-VIBE, a school improvement project led by the student council aimed at creating a more vibrant and collaborative campus space. In his letter, he commended the students leadership and commitment to community building, noting that such initiatives reflect the enduring values of education and civic responsibility.
Citing the example of national hero Jose Rizal, Cho emphasized that meaningful social change begins with the youth and that education remains a powerful tool in shaping the nationís future.
School leaders welcomed the support, saying the sponsorship not only contributes to campus development but also reinforces the message that young people play a central role in driving positive change in society. (PR)
