Fighting Harley Davidson five triumphs over 2K Cares.Org

ALEXTER Dan Tecson scored 37 points and Julius Cadavis added 25 and pulled down 18 rebounds as 2012-Harley Davidson tamed 2K Cares.Org, 113-100, in Division B of the ongoing Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 28 at the Magis Eagles Arena on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The win was the fifth in eight games for Harley Davidson, which only had five players suiting up for the game.

Their three other players also scored in double figures: Aaron Baldwin Sing fired 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Simon Guanzon chipped in 18 notches, and Kyle Dumon added 15 markers.

The struggling 2K Cares, now toting a 1-6 record, was led by Sean Young and Kiddy Limchao, who both scored 18 points.

However, the day’s most exciting game saw the Onses edging Knox Steel, 71-69, in a contest that featured nine lead changes and five deadlocks.

Onses took a 34-31 lead at the half, but Knox Steel came back strong in the third quarter, outscoring Onses 21-16 for a 52-50 advantage.

A tense back-and-forth game ensued, but the Onses secured the win behind the combined efforts of Marc Uykingtian, Karl De Pio, and Bennon Gothong.

Uykingtian finished with 18 points, while De Pio and Gothong added 12 and 10 markers, respectively. The Onses now improve to 5-2.

In other Division B action, 2004-The Win remained undefeated in seven games after crushing Magis Medical Funds, 90-50.

Clay Gumalo finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, and one assist to solidify The Win’s hold of solo leadership in the standings.

Meanwhile, 2005-Insular Square defeated 2012 Golden Dragons, 76–43. Daryle Tan topscored for Insular Square with 19 points, while Efren Sanchez and Earl Locaylocan contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively.

2010 ZLREJ Trading and Construction likewise easily won over 2K Core Pacific, 75-47, with Charles Divinagracia and Jasper Diaz combining for 41 points.

In the lone Division C game, Jorine Cercado and Arc Araw-araw combined for 43 points, and Rendell Senining added 18 to lead 2013 Nest Work Spaces to a 93-65 victory over 2020-BYD. 2013 Nest Work Spaces now has a 3-2 record. / JBM
