Francine Diaz addressed blind items describing her as “mean,” “snobbish” and difficult to approach.
In an exclusive interview with Push ABS-CBN, the actress said she is naturally quiet, which sometimes leads people to misinterpret her as snobbish or mean. “I’m just saying that my name is always being mentioned, and I am very, very confused because most of the time, I’m really just quiet,” the actress said in her defense.
“So I don’t know where they get that from. Because when you’re quiet, people will still have something to say. When you’re being loud, there’s still something to say. So I guess that’s where I’m trying to find the balance,” she added.
However, she said that there are times when she cannot help but distance herself from the group, especially when she is tired from the pressure and demands of work.
“I’m trying to find the balance between being quiet and being loud or playful. I’m trying to find the silver lining, where the right balance is.”
Francine also said that not everything people say about her should be taken to heart. / TRC
