JOLLIBEE Group is doubling down on its expansion strategy.

In 2025, the company told the local bourse on Friday, March 14, 2025, it plans to open 700 to 800 new stores across its various brands and regions. To support this growth, it is allocating between P18 billion to P21 billion in consolidated capital expenditures.

According to Richard Shin, chief financial and risk officer of Jollibee Group, the company projects an eight percent to 12 percent growth in system-wide sales (SWS) in 2025, driven by a four percent to six percent increase in same-store sales and a store network expansion of four percent to eight percent. The company also expects operating profit growth to range between 10 percent and 15 percent.

The Jollibee Group closed 2024 on a high note, delivering strong double-digit growth in revenues, operating income and net income, despite facing challenges in certain markets.

In 2024, Jollibee Group booked a net income of P10.796 billion, up 20.1 percent from P8.766 billion in 2023.

“The Jollibee Group achieved P390.3 billion of SWS, a 13 percent year-over-year (YoY) growth, in line with guidance,” said Ernesto Tanmantiong, chief executive officer of Jollibee Group.

“I am particularly pleased with the continued consistent execution of the Jollibee brand, which grew SWS by 14 percent globally. The Jollibee Philippine business grew by 11.4 percent driven by a 7.9 percent same-store sales growth. Jollibee International delivered a 22 percent YoY growth, with strong same-store sales growth across markets – Vietnam 16.8 percent, EMEA ex-Vietnam 11.6 percent, North America 8.1 percent and China (Hong Kong and Macau) 13.2 percent,” he said.

As of December 2024, Jollibee Group’s total store network grew by 41.8 percent year-over-year, reaching 9,766 locations worldwide, of which 3,382 are located in the Philippines.  / KOC
