

LAPU-LAPU City will inject P80.7 million into local initiatives in 2025 after the City Government approved Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) 3, earmarking funds for a range of development projects from its general fund and development fund.
Of the total amount, P21 million will come from the development fund and P59,705,513 will be sourced from the general fund. According to the breakdown, P18 million from the development fund is allocated for the transfer, reinstallation and enhancement of isolation facilities at Lapu-Lapu City College.
The remaining P3 million will fund the installation of slope protection, fencing and site improvements at the Basak Super Health Center.
The City Development Council Executive Committee approved the Development Fund through Resolution 2025-12.
The Supplemental AIP 3 also details various expenditures under the general fund, covering personnel support, equipment procurement, infrastructure and operational needs. / DPC
