GERRY’S has been a staple Filipino restaurant since its establishment in 1997.

Gerry’s Restaurant and Bar, formerly known as Gerry’s Grill, started in Tomas Morato, Quezon City and expanded all over the country and internationally.

The restaurant chain expanded in Singapore in 2010 and Qatar in 2012.

Today, Gerry’s has become a favorite hangout spot for barkadas, reunions, and gatherings. The restaurant has become a home for Filipinos all over the world with its authentic Filipino dishes and flavorful desserts.

Taste of home

There are various Gerry’s in Cebu located in Ayala Center Cebu, SM City North Wing, other areas, and more recently, in Ayala Central Bloc at IT Park, Lahug.

All of these branches have one thing in common: it evokes the feeling of home. The restaurants are designed to accommodate families and large numbers of groups from as small as four to as many as ten.

A jump from its previous branding of being a restaurant bar, Gerry’s is now a family establishment with a much more inviting atmosphere and brighter lighting. The signature bar has been reduced to a more functional bar for service.

Along with the architectural rebranding, Gerry’s also introduced a new menu that is family-inclusive that includes a variety of dishes, milky ice desserts, and beverages.

The family restaurant also has retained the all-time crowd favorites of sisig, inihaw na pusit, and crispy pata.

Iconic dishes

Even after so many decades, the classic taste of Gerry’s has remained especially for the favorite crispy pata and its iconic crispy skin and juicy meat.

Another crowd favorite is the Inihawng Pusit which is grilled to a soft, juicy, and flavorful texture. The famous Gerry’s sisig remains incomparable and is best paired with rice.

Another dish that is a must-try is the Inihaw na Tuna Belly, which is best paired with Seafood rice. All of Gerry’s soup selections are heartwarming, but there is a classic taste to the Nilagang Bulalo that is simply unforgettable.

Finally, for dessert, any of the milky iced desserts such as Buko Pandan, Banana Split, Leche Flan, Mais Con Hielo, or Halo-halo would be satisfying for any sweet tooth.

Same Gerry’s

Even though Gerry’s has evolved throughout the years, it remains to be the same Gerry’s that Filipinos love when it first opened in 1997.

True to his vision, founder Gerry Apolinario, kept his promise that Gerry’s shall become a home to those who seek it, now expanding to families, too.

And while Gerry’s Restaurant now looks a bit different, its core values remain the same just as Apolinario once said, “For as long as we can, we guarantee nothing but great food and loads of fun.”
