Much-loved and iconic sportswear brand Nike just dropped an L-word—and the word is “launch”—as it unveiled its newest store at SM City Cebu on Sept. 21, 2023.
The grand opening flaunted the latest and greatest the brand has to offer and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, captivating performances, music spun by a DJ, games, food and an irresistible storewide promo, slashing prices by 30 percent on nearly every item.
Nike was abuzz with a huge crowd when I stepped out and bumped into two familiar faces that I definitely knew flew in from Manila just for the event—Alicia Casas, who was there with others from the Nike Philippines team, and Cebuana beauty queen and model, Maria Gigante, who was the master of ceremonies. The brand really went the extra mile flying in key personalities.
What a warm welcome to the latest addition of the Nike stores—which was, of course, all tied together with a pretty little bow by the Bigseed PR and Events Team.
With this exciting launch, Nike now boasts of not one but two stores in Cebu—one nestled in SM City Cebu and the other in Ayala Center Cebu.
