THE Gourmand International 2023 Awards Ceremony held in Umea, Sweden, screened more than 100,000 food and drink publications from 230 countries worldwide to gain an overview of each country’s food culture. Each award category presented national winners in the “Best in World” ceremony.
This selection reflects the passion of all humanity for cooking, as well as the immense food challenges of the 21st century. This year, the awards ceremony was held in Umea, Sweden as part of the Umea Food symposium, where chefs worldwide provided demonstrations of their local food culture.
The “Anti-Aging Dishes from Around the World” cookbook by Grace O. received the “Best in World” award for the Health and Nutrition category. She celebrated this win with her FoodTrients team, husband Rupert Ouano, and other family members.
About her cookbook, Gourmand 2023 said: “All based on the principles of FoodTrients, the recipes in Grace O’s book take us on a journey through a world of thousands of cultures, all brought together for healthy eating. Grace O. is proud to have received a second international award from Gourmand for her latest cookbook, published by Skyhorse Publishing and distributed by Simon & Schuster. Her previous cookbook, “The Age Beautifully Cookbook,” was awarded the 2017 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards’ top honor: “Best in the World – for Innovation” at Gourmand’s annual awards event in Yantai, China.
