Heybaked X Analog Cafe: Sweet success of sisterhood

Sisters are often considered to be one of the most precious relationships in a person’s life. Growing up with a sister means sharing countless moments, from childhood games to teenage heartbreaks, and everything in between.

Sisters form a unique connection and bond that is built on a lifetime of shared experiences, memories and emotions. This bond is both complex and profound, evolving over time to become a source of support that is difficult to replicate in any other relationship.

Meet Elaiza Debuayan, a 27-year-old specialist in the art of manual brewing, with a particular focus on the Lever Espresso. Her sister, Hannah Debuayan, 29, has an adventurous palate and a wealth of skills in the areas of pastries and dishes.

Together, these two sisters have forged a bond that goes beyond their shared blood and childhood memories. Through a unique collaboration that combines their individual talents, they have created the successful business, Heybaked X Analog Cafe.

This venture has not only strengthened their sisterly bond but has also brought their complementary skills to the forefront, resulting in a business that is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

Beginning

In 2019, Elaiza and Hannah were pursuing separate career paths. However, when the pandemic struck, both of their careers abruptly came to a halt, causing a temporary pause in their lives. Despite this setback, Elaiza and Hannah refused to let the pandemic do so. Hannah discovered her passion for cooking and baking, which she developed and practiced, while Elaiza dove into researching and practicing the art of manual brewing.

It is remarkable how taking a break and pause from a fast-paced life can lead to self-discovery and open doors to new opportunities.

Heybaked X Analog is a story of resilience and perseverance that Elaiza and Hannah shared.

They started with door-to-door deliveries, facing tough times with unwavering determination, and through hard work and dedication, they opened their first physical store in their hometown of Alcoy, Cebu on Sept. 25, 2020.

In June 2022, their dream of opening a cafe in Cebu City became a reality when they found the perfect space for Heybaked X Analog Cafe.

Vision

Their vision of a vibrant community hub where people can enjoy delicious food and coffee became a reality. Today, their cafe continues to thrive, serving a growing number of customers who appreciate the quality and passion that goes into every product they offer.

Their message to the community is “where social happens,” Elaiza exclaimed. They want their cafe to be more than just a place to grab a bite or a cup of coffee. Heybaked X Analog is a vibrant community where people can create connections, establish bonds, and create new experiences together.

Whether you’re catching up with friends or meeting new people, the cafe offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where socializing comes naturally.

With their delicious baked goods and high-quality coffee, Heybaked X Analog has become a go-to cafe for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks and company.

The story of Heybaked X Analog is a beautiful testament to the power of sisterhood. What started as a simple connection and bond between Elaiza and Hannah has now become their reality. The bond between Elaiza and Hannah is at the heart of everything they do, and it shines through in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of their cafe.

Heybaked X Analog Cafe is located on 301 F, Residencia Ramos, F. Ramos St., Cebu City and is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m from Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
