Find out what your inaanaks like by asking your kumare or kumpare. Surely, they will give you hints. If all else fails, try sneaking in a question in one of your conversations. If you are friends with them on Facebook, you can always browse through their feed.
2. Make a list, check it once and check it twice
When you visit shopping areas, it's always convenient to make a list. Aside from your long grocery list, include the gifts you wish to purchase for your inaanak. You'll be the best godparent by simply remembering them. Imagine forgetting one of your inaanaks, bah humbug!
3. Splurge your Christmas bonus on your inaanaks
Christmas only comes once a year. Why not spoil your inaanaks by buying them the gifts they truly love? No matter what the cost. Hey, you just received your 13th month pay and your Christmas bonus. Why don't you give love on Christmas pay, I mean, day? The look on their faces will be priceless.
