THE KDLex love team of KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad, regarded as the most promising pair these days, met members of the media and vloggers both inside the country and abroad during an online media conference on Feb. 22.
The love team will also have its grand virtual meet-and-greet event dubbed “Closer: The KDLex FanCon” on Feb. 26.
The young stars’ friendship started and blossomed in the “Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10” Celebrity Edition. Both said that the event will be full of “fun, cool jamming sessions, ‘kantahan, kilig, landi-an’ and more.”
Alexa said they will be singing songs written inside the PBB house, songs their fans have come to love.
The “kilig” factor was very much there for these young stars. Unlike the usual mediacons where the guests are in separate venues, the KDLex love team was in one venue, presumably the residence of Alexa.
In addition, the two showed extra closeness with each other. Leaning on each other’s shoulders and KD putting his hand over the shoulder of Alexa were enough for people to suspect that the pair’s relationship has become more than ordinary friendship.
In addition, KD had given Alexa a Cartier ring, something given to him by a family member. Now both stars are wearing identical Cartier rings.
The young stars were very natural in responding to queries about the real score.
They said “there’s something blossoming,” “on the way,” “developing,” “getting there,” and adding that they are simply “enjoying each other’s company.” They hastened to add that their career takes priority with Alexa expressing that she wants KD “to enjoy showbiz” first, as he is a neophyte.
KD’s traits that endear him to Alexa are his being sweet and nice, in addition to being a lover of music and pets. For KD, Alexa is very caring, also into music, family-oriented and “very jowa material.”
The two have released songs they did in the PBB House including “Closer,” “Misteryo” and “When I See You Again.” The tandem is also scheduled to appear together in a project, the filming of which will start in March.
