RADISSON Blu Hotel Cebu adds to its belt another major award from the Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) General Managers’ Conference Southeast Asia & Pacific awards night held March 30, 2023 in Bali, Indonesia.

The 2022 Operational Excellence Award was given to Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu in recognition of its strong delivery of all its key performance indicators (KPI) — and notably the only Radisson Hotel in the Southeast Asia & Pacific region to achieve this.

This includes an assessment of the hotel’s overall portfolio optimization, brand and product, marketing, sales and revenue management, maximizing cost advantages, management of organization talent, which altogether made up the total of 12 KPI’s that were achieved together with an overall compliance with RHG’s high standards.

The award was received by both former general manager Björn-Henning Buth — who led the hotel through recovery after the pandemic and the devastation of super typhoon Odette — and newly instated general manager Marko Janssen who joined the team in March 2023.

The 2022 Operational Excellence Award is the latest addition to its line-up, with the hotel previously clinching RHG’s 2012 and 2017 Hotel of the Year awards, which is a recognition of the team’s “Yes, I can!” spirit to make each stay, meeting and experience in Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu one for the books.
