The Solea Hotel and Resorts in Cordova, Cebu celebrated the autumn Moon Festival with bountiful blessings as it re-opened the Solea Seaview, Solea Mactan Resort’s first building.

After three years of closure due to the pandemic, the Seaview welcomed guests with refurbished rooms and upgraded amenities on September 25, 2023.

“We have celebrated our tenth year anniversary this year amidst a very challenging three years that the building was closed and non-operational. We have not made any changes and renovations not until now. We are optimistic that the tourism business will bounce back strongly and expect to welcome both local and international guests at the end of the year,” said Rooms and Operations Director, Joana Flor Abangan. 

The Seaview boasts 63 rooms. This is in addition to Solea Mactan Resorts’ 492 rooms, making the whole compound a 555-room resort.

Abangan said that the ambiance of the Seaview combines contemporary tropical designs with the design guests have loved for the past ten years.

There are 55 Deluxe Sea View rooms sized comfortably at 30 to 32 square meters (sqm), three Suite Sea View rooms at 39 to 41 sqm, two Premier Suites at 35 sqm, and three Executive Suites with a spacious 58 to 60 sqm. 

All of these rooms are within walking distance of the white sand beach. Meanwhile, night swimmers can enjoy the main pool up to 9 p.m. 

The Solea Seaview Resort also boasts a fitness center or gym, which is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., that fitness enthusiasts can enjoy.

The Glass tent

Along with re-opening the Seaview Resort, Solea also opened its Glasshouse, blessing it with the bounty of the Moon Festival. 

Adorned in red and symbols of good luck, the Glasshouse becomes a testament to the Gothong-led resort’s commitment to innovation in hospitality and tourism. 

The Glasshouse can easily fit 150-200 guests and the building has a 360-degree view of the resort, the perfect venue for memorable moments.

Family resort

Solea Mactan Resorts has three buildings: the Seaview, Mactan, and Palm, each with unique room offerings and views, perfect for family vacations.

Aside from the beachfront, there are five pools with different depths to enjoy including three main pools (Niña, Rose, Richie), an infinity pool (Kim), and a garden pool (Karen). 

Kids can play in three aquaparks including the main Aquapark, Aquaplay, and Inflatable Waterpark within the compound.

Foodies would delight in various options such as the Earth All Day Dining, the Salt & Sky Lounge, Cuckoo Pool Bar, Lobby Lounge, Sandy Point Beach Bar, and of course, In-Room Dining.
