Tales & Feelings elevates Cebu's culinary scene with new flagship restaurant

In Cebu City, where the vibrant culture of the Philippines merges with its burgeoning culinary scene as a whole, a quaint restaurant took Metro Cebu by storm in April of 2021, captivating the palates and hearts of Cebuanos.

Tales & Feelings, tucked away in Ramos, quickly became a cherished culinary gem. The restaurant is celebrated for its intimate ambiance and exquisite cuisine, marking it as one of the top spots in Cebu that fuses atmospheric flair with scrumptious offerings of diverse international dishes.

Now, two years later, the culinary journey continues with the launching of Tales & Feelings’ flagship restaurant located at the Amber Hotel, a bustling intersection at Capitol, Don Gil Garcia St., and Don Julio Llorente St. in Cebu City.

The expansion marks a significant milestone for Tales & Feelings, evolving from an 18 to 20 patron seating capacity in its Ramos branch to a sprawling space that can accommodate up to 100 guests. The flagship restaurant promises nothing short of a complete gastronomic journey, with two private dining rooms, a chef’s counter dedicated exclusively to tasting menus, a fully stocked bar, and an extensive wine cellar for connoisseurs to explore.

At the helm of this culinary voyage is the visionary Executive Chef Elso Almodiel III, whose culinary prowess has been instrumental in Tales & Feelings’ rise to prominence. Chef Almodiel is slated to assume the executive role at the flagship restaurant while also acting as a guiding hand at the Ramos branch. This seamless transition ensures that the culinary excellence that Tales & Feelings is renowned for will be upheld.

The driving force behind the culinary haven is the dynamic duo, Julian and Kim Prosevicius. With a shared vision of offering an elevated dining experience that embraces the art of fine dining, they have consistently delighted diners with an ever-evolving menu that takes them on remarkable culinary adventures.

Kim Prosevicius explained the motivation behind this bold step, “We are always eager to learn and strive for new things every day. Working in a small space, there is a ceiling to our capabilities, and we are unable to show our full potential. Guests have been asking for a bigger space to accommodate their requests, proper parking, and facilities that complement the quality of our food and service.”

Julian Prosevicius added, “Opening our flagship restaurant is a dream come true for us. It’s a testament to the passion and dedication we pour into every dish we create. We are honored to bring Tales & Feelings to a wider audience and continue our commitment to culinary excellence.”

To mark this momentous occasion, Tales & Feelings had a soft launch via an exclusive invite-only soirée on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
