Seda Central Bloc is aiming for creative and innovative heights!
As the hotel industry continues to rebound after the devastating effects of the pandemic, the hotel is anticipating pre-pandemic numbers by 2023.
In post-pandemic tourism, many tourists now prefer beaches, historical sites, sumptuous food and shopping. To cater to these choices, Seda Central Bloc-Cebu will offer memorable and achievable experiences.
At the forefront of these preferences is the newly promoted general manager Aaron “Ron” Y. Manalang, who also stresses the importance of being creative and customer-oriented to evolve continually.
Digitalization will play an imperative role as part of the industry by accurately connecting with clients, as will the emergence of apps as a platform for flexible and affordable promos, easy booking access and direct payments, providing convenience to guests.
A distinct advantage is the location of Seda Central Bloc at Cebu IT Park given its proximity to the progressive BPO industry and its ever-expanding millennial workforce. The hotel offers affordable packages for short stays and serviced residences for extended visits. Its unique combination of amenities include a roof deck bar, swimming pool, pool bar and gym.
A definite come-on are these various promos: BBQ Nights at the hotel’s Straight Up Roof Deck. This promo presents a gastronomic BBQ buffet featuring Roasted Hanging Beef, Roasted Liempo and Chicken, plus a generous bowl of Mongolian Rice and noodles, appetizers and desserts.
BBQ Nights are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
Through the Flaming Specials, Misto Restaurant elevates its buffet spread with charcoal-grilled premium meat cuts and seafood at the show kitchen.
Choose from salmon, prawns, tenderloin etc. with unlimited pastas, pizzas, bread and desserts. Flaming Specials is available for lunch daily from 12 to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner, every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m.
Meet GM Ron Manalang who brings with him 23 years of solid experience in the industry with successful stints at major international and local hotel chains. Starting his career at Mandarin Oriental Manila in 1998, he gained valuable overseas experience at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Georgia, USA, before assuming positions at Traders Hotel-Manila, Sofitel Philippine Plaza and Aruga by Rockwell in the Philippines.
These exposures have made Manalang commercially aware of how the business is run and managed.
Seda Central Bloc-Cebu’s target market include corporate and leisure travelers as well as Mice (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) businesses rising from the pandemic. The Mice market is expected to make a full comeback with the return of large-scale events like conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.
Ron emphasized the focus on consistency in products and services and the availability of versatile and convenient banquet spaces and rooms.
Seda also places great importance in hiring the right people who are committed, passionate and aligned with the brand’s culture of genuine service from the heart.
Truly, many have admired this quality at Seda for themselves. Great job, Ron!
