A posh, luxurious 114-seater space now caters to domestic travelers of Philippine Airlines (PAL). A streamlined, premium class Mabuhay Lounge was recently inaugurated at the ground floor of Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA).

The Mabuhay Lounge serves as a cozy sanctuary amid the hustle and bustle of travel. Great appreciation is credited to PAL chairman and chief executive officer, Dr. Lucio C. Tan, and PAL vice chairperson, Carmen Tan, for their unstinted leadership and support in marking such a milestone, said PAL president and chief operating officer, Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

Practical and functional, the spacious area was designed by Adrian T. Chua Architects and Associates in partnership with PAL. Featuring modern Filipino interiors, the lounge immerses itself in the flag carrier’s vibrant blue color, in combination with warm, wooden touches and sleek furnishings.

Evoking luxury and comfort, colors and lines do play a part in ensuring passengers’ relaxation and energy recharging while waiting for their flights. Additional amenities are private charging outlets and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as shower rooms and segregated male, female and PWD restrooms, equipped with the full range of innovations for guest comfort.

Not to forget the dining area which offers tastefully curated menus in a buffet station of gastronomic delights, including PAL’s signature Arroz Caldo! Nothing but the tastiest for the hungry you!

PAL’s newest treat, the Mabuhay Lounge adheres to the airline’s mission to provide comfort, convenience and warm hospitality for Business Class and Comfort Class passengers, and Mabuhay Miles Elite, Premier Elite and Million Miler members.

In conclusion, this is part of the airline’s strong commitment to build up Mactan-Cebu as its fastest growing hub — the heart of a robust network of PAL flights linking Cebu with 19 domestic and regional destinations.

Truly, a new haven in their Cebu home!
