LIVE-IN partners who were allegedly identified as big-time drug pushers in the town of Argao were arrested in a buy-bust conducted by the Argao Police Station at 10:11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, in Barangay Binlod, Argao.
The suspects were a 47-year-old resident of Barangay Binlod, Argao, and his live-in partner from Barangay Poblacion, Ronda.
Police seized a sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 110 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of P748,000.
Police said the two had been under surveillance for some time after they allegedly expanded their illegal drug activities in Argao. After gathering sufficient information, police launched an anti-illegal drug operation that resulted in the suspects’ arrest.
Police said the two were allegedly suppliers of illegal drugs to the neighboring towns of Argao and upland barangays.
Both were previously arrested for illegal drug offenses but were released after entering into a plea bargain.
The Argao Police Station is preparing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, against the two suspects. / AYB
