113 policemen in southwest Cebu undergo drug test

AT LEAST 113 personnel of four police stations in southwest Cebu were subjected to a surprise drug test by the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) on Monday, May 8, 2023.

The activity was spearheaded by CPPO Chief Colonel Rommel Ochave.

Ochave said that all police personnel in entire Cebu will undergo drug test as part of the internal cleansing program of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Last Monday’s surprise drug test was held in Barili, Dumanjug, Ronda and Alcantara police stations.

Those who test negative may face dismissal.

Ochave warned his men not to use illegal drugs so they won’t be fired.

As of this writing, the results of the drug test have not yet been released. (AYB/TPT)
