TWO canyoneering guides were arrested in two separate anti-illegal drugs operation by the Badian police in barangays Ginablan and Matutinao Friday afternoon, July 6.
They were identified as Jejomar Divinagracia, 31, and James Greaves, 30.
The two were reportedly newly-identified street-level drug pushers.
Greave's mother, Gemma Sumampong, 52, was also arrested after she allegedly tried to rescue her son from being caught by the authorities.
She will be charged for obstruction of justice.
Methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with an estimated worth of P10,500 was confiscated from the two.
In Sitio Sawsawan, Barangay Tangke,Talisay City, three persons were arrested while the subject escaped from the grasp of the operatives Friday evening, July 6.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEAU), Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB), and the Talisay Police conducted a drug bust against Felicitas Cuizon, 31.
Cuizon is still at-large.
Arrested were Mateo Cuizon, 37, her alleged cohort, Jose Mingquito, 35, and Romel Abapo, 25.
Shabu with a Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P192, 576, P200 buy-bust money, and P1, 300 cash believed to be proceeds were seized. (JOB/SunStar Cebu)
