TWO dead men with gunshot wounds to the head were found by the side of the road in Barangay Kawasan, Aloguinsan, Cebu at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Police Lieutenant Robert Barnedo, chief of the Aloguinsan Police Station, said the two murder victims, still unidentified as of this writing, was thrown to a portion in Kawasan that has few residents.
One of the victims was dressed in black shirt underneath an army fatigue green hoodie jacket. He was in short pants.
The other victim was dressed in black short and short pants. His face was covered with an orange shirt.
Barnedo said it is possible that no one saw saw the crime as residents live around 300 meters from the area where the murder victims were found. The place is around seven kilometers from the town proper of Aloguinsan.
A resident reportedly heard a gunshot at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, January 19.
Not a single resident in Kawasan knew the two murder victims, said Barnedo.
Crime scene investigators also found no identification from them.
Barnedo said one of the victims in a hoodie jacket sported a tattoo of a child's face on his left hand.
The dead bodies were brought to St. Francis Funeral Homes in Toledo City, Cebu. (GPL, KAL)
