TWO lending collectors lost a total of P29,000 to two motorcycle-riding men who declared a hold-up around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Sitio Mohon, Barangay Langtad, City of Naga, Cebu.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel William Homoc, chief of Naga City Police Station, the victims went to a food stand in the area to collect loan payments from the stall owner when the culprits riding separate motorcycles approached them and declared a holdup.
One of the robbers pointed a gun at them.
Out of fear, one of the victims gave the perpetrators P19,000, and the other gave them his P10,000 collection.
The Naga police are now conducting a hot pursuit operation to pursue the criminals. (DVG, TPT)
