827 PUMs in Cebu City cleared

A TOTAL of 827 persons under monitoring (PUMs) in Cebu City have been cleared or have completed their home quarantine as of 8 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2020.

The Cebu City Health Department (CHD) recorded that there are only 102 PUMs remaining and 39 persons with influenza-like illness (ILI).

Barangay Luz has the most number of PUMs with 71, followed by Barangay Talamban with 22.

Other barangays with PUMs are Barangays Sambag 2 (1); Santa Cruz (1); Banilad (3); Basak San Nicolas (1); and Quiot (2).

With the 22 new coronavirus-positive patients recorded on April 15, Cebu City currently has 53 cases.

Of the 53, 29 are from Barangay Luz; six from Guadalupe with five already laboratory-negative; three from Talamban with two mortalities and one lab-negative; two from Sambag 2 who are now both lab-negative; two from Kinasang-an who are now both lab-negative; and another two from Banilad with one mortality and one lab-negative.

Other barangays in the city with only one Covid-positive patient are Barangays Babag which is now lab-negative; Calamba (now lab-negative); Camputhaw (one mortality); Capitol (now lab-negative); Cogon Ramos (now lab-negative); Labangon; Mambaling; Opra; and Sta. Cruz (one mortality).
