THE Bogo City Government opened its newly renovated slaughterhouse on Monday, May 8, 2023.
The facility has been installed with equipment similar to a class AA slaughterhouse, thus ensuring a cleaner and more organized method of preparing pork before it is sold and consumed by the public, the City Government of Bogo said in a press statement posted on its Facebook page Monday.
The City further said slaughterhouse personnel and butchers underwent extensive training and orientation to ensure that the meat is prepared in a safe, clean and proper manner. They have also been equipped with new tools.
